shouldn't 3in DP's give a tad more power over 2.5 with the rest of the exhaust being stock ?

catted vs catted
&
non catted vs non catted ?

that being said seems like 3in would be the best option. If you want catted buy some high flow cats and have them welded into the 3in (this is what I would like to do).

Or is there a 3in catted option ?

Actually no, because of the amount of backpressure that is lost by going to that large of an ID. The ideal size increase for the SHO/XSport is to go from 2 1/8" to 2 1/2".

As for passing inspections, we do not ever advertise our products as being emissions ready or legal. It is virtually impossible to make anything 50 state legal, especially as that amazing 50th state gets increasingly more strict on what does and doesn't pass. We are in a non-emissions state, so there is no testing that we do for our performance support.

The race catted DP's will gain 10-15whp/wtq. We do not sell anything by 1/4 mile times, there are too many variables.

I'll let everyone know Friday. Loading my new LMS tune + Stainless Steel Works Downpipes + Corsa Exhaust. I'm expecting 5-10awhp and 15-20awtq but that's just me being hopeful ;)

Stay tuned (pun intended)

I have a 2013 Flex.

We do not make a direct bolt on set for the Flex We have had several clients "make" them fit as there is not a giant difference from the XSport to the Flex.

EcoPowerParts

Flex and SHO downpipes are the same, Explorer Sport downpipes are different.
I've sold TONS of the Flex made downpipes to SHO owners and they all bolt right up, the Explorer has a different cradle support.
The lower cover does fit on our downpipes, we made sure that it would as it's important.
