Weird Bypass valve noise

Hello,
  I just noticed recently that one of my bypass valves is making an odd noise when I let off.  It's almost like a toned down version of the obnoxious new years horns you blow in.  I plan on taking it apart this weekend but was wondering if anyone had experienced it before.

LMS tune by any chance?  Some people have reported a "honk" type sound (think duck/geese) from their BOVs.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Yeah, with going with the 4X tune (3bar and DP) mine make the honk noise, figured thats just what it does

Torrie tuned, thanks for the heads up.  I'll try and do more searching, it was kind of hard to describe the noise :)

My BOV sound changed also. Completely normal Imo.
I still get the phhhssss. But it also honks, quacks, barks,meows on occasion lol.

it seems when the boost levels are very low and i let up, its makes any sound from a Zoo as Glock said.

I was thinking the valve might be going so I was dreading having to put it back to stock for the dealer.  I'll just roll with farm animals sounds or maybe vent to atmosphere.   Thanks for all the feedback!

I've recently had issues with my tune from Torrie making all kinds of funny noises. Asked him and showed him videos but he didn't have much to say.

I have the same noise when I let off but sometimes when I let off under boost it sounds like a bov from a supra. Lol my car is also tuned by Torrie. Is that normal ?

Yes completely normal. The tune definitely changes the sound of the BOV.
