Going to start looking at larger tablets. My Nexus 7 is working great, but I'm lusting for more real estate for my layout!
I thought about the 10 inchers but the size and added screen glare on the windshield kept me in the 8 inch realm.
FWIW, screen glare on my Nexus was pretty annoying in my chosen location so I added an anti glare screen protector and it helped a lot.
Ooooh, good call, thanks!

FoMoCo,
First, thanks for your work on the layouts!  I'm new to Torque Pro.  Like another member mentioned, I am having trouble with the layout.   I tried the dash file on both a Galaxy Tab 10in and also a Galaxy Tab 8in tablet. Both had same result with the layout being jumbled.  Seems like a config issue almost.  I was wondering if you could re-send the dash file or email it to me--maybe it got corrupted??  Or, do you think there are other settings we need to do to match your setup?  Also, I know I need to add the custom PIDs, but unsure where to place the CSV file that is in the 'PID Take 2' thread.

Thanks for any help!

Is that what it looks like after you imported the dash file?

I exported and deleted and imported to test and didn't have an issue.

I suspect having gauges with no associated pids may be causing at least part of the issue.....

One of the threads has the file and instructions to upload.

I would try that first then let me know....

SHOw-Me State

Yeah, that's what I got, across two of the boards.  Thanks for testing on your system--helps clarify probably not a issue with the dash file.  I will work on getting the PIDs entered and see if that helps.

Did you drop the CSV file into Torque somewhere (I think it has all the custom PIDs)? Or, did you enter them all individually?

Thanks!!!

I bulk imported it, but I did type the updated LOR gauge manually..

If you can't get it to display correctly I can guide you how to do it manually, its just lots of the move to back/bring to front functions mixed with a bunch of OCD... ;)

Bummer....I got the bulk import/CSV thing done.  Layout still looks the same as my prior pics, only all gauges have appropriate labels versus ExtPID.   I had even retored to default dials, removed and reaquired the files, then imported.  No joy.

Only other thing I can think of is that I currently dont have a car profile set up.  Not sure how that would affect layout though.

I was playing around with the gauges previously, so I sort of know how to build.  I may just have to suck it up and try to mimic yours myself!

BTW, as for car profile, what values are being used by everyone?

Thanks!

New layout.

Anybody else have dropout issues with actual AFR/Lambda?

Did you know you can use smilies?

When it switches to boost the snails come online.

Zero. The 29 is when it goes into decel fuel cutoff.

Yes, I have the zero pop up all the time...just about every time I drive it actually.

I wonder if its the adapter, Torque, or the car.

It happened on the 2013 as well.

SHOdded

Check on Forscan, see if the zero pops up.  If not, likely Torque.  If it does, at a similar frequency, adapter or car most likely.  The more parameters being returned per sampling period, the more likely I think it to be the car, personally.

BTW, I have found Forscan sampling intervals to be inconsistent with the MX Bluetooth lately; too bad you can't specify a sampling interval ...

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

SHOnUup

When you log on torque you can specify the intervals...not for the gauge displays though.
