I have a stage 2 snow performance kit waiting to install (woo!). Unfortunately it's been consistently -20 degrees Fahrenheit and will be a little bit til I get around to installing it.
My main question is there any particular kind of meth you guys run? I looked into M5 methanol from VP racing but it was 130$ after shipping for a 5 gallon container :O My main question is if I just get some generic methanol from ebay, does it matter as far as the purity of it? My buddy makes biodiesel and uses it and he said purity matters for that, but I don't think it would that much for burning? Would something like this work

I plan on running a higher blend of methanol. Torrie at Unleashed says he usually has people run 70-80% blends, but will do 100% if wanted.. What do you guys think? I've read a lot of you go for 100% meth, and I feel like that'll be easier than mixing and stuff. Is there really a purpose to run a 80/20 blend vs 100% meth? Would that container of meth I linked be something I can just add to the tank and be done or should I be trying to get some M1 or M5 from vpracing? There's no shop nearby me to get some unfortunately, and it's ridiculously expensive shipping from them. If anyone knows where to order some online other than directly from vp let me know!
Sorry for all the questions, I'm just nervous about running Meth since I've never done it before, and my car buddy says he stays away from it.
