Why the livernois thermostat & map sensor

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has done the thermostat and map sensor from any other manufacturer and had good success? Just curious

The 3bar map sensor is the same part that all vendors and dealers carry,the t-stat is a must if your car is tuned for better performance with plugs,there are two sets of stats,there is the Reische 170 stat and the 160 stat which i heard is somewhat better than the 170 stat,which i have,mine came with the gasket and coudnt be happier,the 160 stat does not come with the gasket,you have to use your existing one or buy a new one,good luck.

The 3 bar map sensor is a Ford part and requires a tune to work on our cars.

T-stats are a common swap in vehicles. LME doesn't make theirs, they are a retailer. They are the ones that simply found the t-stat that fits our engine.

i know when you return to stock you have to switch out map sensor, what about the 170 thermo? can u drive it stock with that still installed

I have been driving on and off with a tune for a while know,have the Reishe 170 stat also and you should not have any issues,same goes for the plugs if there gapped at 0.30.
