Hey guys so I'm FINALLY ordering the tune and cant wait. The car has 66k miles on it now and wanted to prep the car all within the same time period. Other than the tune I am getting:

trans fluid for a service
coolant for a service
PTU fluid for a service
Spark Plugs, boots, filters, pcv
need to order a thermostat- should I do LMS?
3 bar map

What else do you guys think I should service or look for? I heard about stretched timing, checking CAC, checking turbo clamps, and some other things.

2010 SHO - Daily: Corsa Cat-Back, Roush CAI, LME Downpipes, LME 3-Bar, LME Thermostat, LME Tune 4+

Sounds like you have the list down!  Maybe take a look at your tires to make sure they perform/grip when you've got the SHO tuned.  Service the RDU fluid also while you are at it.

As far as TStat, you should go with what the tuner recommends or will tune for.  LME does the colder 160, Unleashed does the 170 (may tune for the 160 if you opt for it).  What ambient temps, how much traffic do you see in your daily driving?  If you see heavy stopngo traffic or temps get above 100F regularly, you might want to go with the 160.  Mind you, with either TStat, the tune may command the fans to come on earlier and stay on longer, nothing to worry about, just be aware.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Thanks! I just bought some Michelins too lol. The RDU fluid, got to look into that.

I'm just going to move forward with the LME thermostat when I buy the tune and 3 bar map.
