I have been in RV sales for 15 years now and wanted to give my input on the Ford Ecoboost reliability. Most of my Ford ecoboost driving customers love the way the V6 pulls their camper and I think everyone will be happy to hear that many of them have well over 50k miles without any issues! We have a Ford dealership across the street and I sold several ford technicians campers so I've been asking about the ecoboost reliability well before I purchased my SHO just to make sure I wasn't about to buy a sub-par product. I also sold a business owner that has a fleet of F-150's equipped with the ecoboost engine and the only complaint from him was the mileage dropping under heavy pulling conditions. Finally my service writer told me that over 60 percent of their truck sales are equipped with the ecoboost motor and the only problem he encountered was the moisture getting into the turbo housing which was addressed and fixed this issue was mostly with the first and second year engines-being in south Louisiana we probably saw more of this because of the climate. Just my two cents fellas-happy driving!

Appreciate the assessment, Anthony!  Continue to hear good things in reviews on YT, but nice/better to hear about happy customers :thumb:

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!
