I think we will be pleasantly surprised when that SHO gets to the track in full race setup.  A 4500 lb car beating the EcoStang, so there!!!

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

I'll get there (to the track) soon enough.

Got plenty of miles on the (new) motor now, so at this point, it's just a matter of coordinating schedules with Dan.

I'd prefer, given the amount of work that both he, and all the staff at LME have committed to my SHO, that it's only respectful to allow Dan to pilot my 4400lb techno sled down the track (and into the record books) for it's maiden voyage(s) down the strip. Wouldn't you agree?

Still...... an 11.8 out of a 4cyl Ecoboost is absolutely INSANE!

I'll easily beat that time..... but I've had to undergo an extensive amount of work to get me where I'm at horsepower wise, as well as where I am anticipated to be at, track wise.

Kudos to LME for yet another World Record Holder with the new 2015 EB Mustang. :ok:

That's a great idea of letting the man take the initial voyage.

Your patience is far superior than mine. I don't think I'd be able to hold out at all if it was ready to go.

I do possess the ultimate driver mod though....140 lbs...;)

Still don't understand how the 2.3 can make almost as much power as our cars and we have an extra turbo, 2 more cylinders, and more displacement. Lol

Its the 2nd gen of the Ecoboost, IMHO they still have more to give and this just proves it

Thinking the drive train and fuel system our the roadblocks we have in the 3.5. Then turbos once you get past the 550 hp barrier.

The EB Stang might not be ready for the Kentucky Derby just yet...BUT...don't count it out just yet. We haven't even hit turn 1 yet! We will have all of the ranch hands in the stable testing, tinkering and tuning! That little engine that can will be blazing a new trail in the turbocharged Mustang history books with some grooming from Livernois Motorsports in no time! We will have a full compliment of parts soon....VERY SOON....
