Spark Plugs Wires Boots?

I'm approaching 55k miles on my SHO and tuning it up this holiday. I've already got my plugs on order and ready to change them once all the parts are in. But i've read up about having a couple spare spark plug boots on hand. Just wanted to check with the community about the part number and make sure i have this one correct. "MOTORCRAFT Part # WR6135 {#BL3Z12A402A}" (pulled from Rock Auto)

Second is spark plug wires.
I figured since I'm already tearing into things enough, i should change the wires too since a rough rule of thumb is like 60-75k miles i've always heard. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Any parts you purchase SHO would only recommend OEM Motorcraft parts.http://www.tascaparts.com/ford/taurus/bl3z12a402a/2011-year/sho-trim/3-5l-v6-gas-engine/ignition-cat/ignition-coil-scat/?part_name=direct-ignition-coil-boot&position= One thing about Rock auto is you have to verify that its the correct part number, make sure to put some dielectric grease liberally.

I don't think there is a specific mileage range suggest for COP wiring (not being high voltage like conventional ignition), but no harm in doing them if you prefer to.  I'd check resistance on the wires and how they looked (cracking, corrosion, stiffness, etc.) before replacing them.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Thanks for the info guys!!!!

I think i'm going to order at least like 3 boots to be on the safe side. Rather be safe than sorry. I normally work on my car on a sunday.... when the parts department at the dealership is closed.
