The strategy isn't the only thing that is unique from car to car. This is a pretty big debate on this forum that I don't want to get into. But the older non pp car that was faster than you today was on his first revision of a map after datalogging. Data logging is very comparable to dyno tuning. Only difference is pavement instead of a roller.

You should def be able to push more boost than that with a 3bar.

Those would be great questions to ask them. Being on the dyno will give better info on where they can push the limits to. As I was told a crazy tune could be made but they wouldn't suggest it being used unless you're ready for a failure.

Good runs at Milan.

Was it pretty busy?

Rich
It was crazy busy. I was at least half an hour between runs and an hour between 2 because a mustang hit the wall at about 1/5 mile.
Ouch...always nice seeing another awd next to you at the tree.

I'll see if I can upload a couple videos. I ran against an ATS and a CTS-V. The V destroyed me pretty bad. My cousin had his good run against a modded fox body 5.0 and actually beat it. The other SHO my cousin went against only really beat him on RT and 60'. If he would have run it better he would have kept up.

Well I guess I qualify for the "off the shelf" 12.5.

Rich

I should have specified 93 octane. E85 obviously has its advantages.

The run where my cousin went against it he may have run a 12.7. I'm converting my go-pro video of it right now so I will upload it when I'm done.

12.8 for a luxury yacht is pretty damn good!!  Back when I had my 2006 GTO, a mid/high 12 was what tuned GTO's were doing at the sea level tracks.  Most were low 13's stock.

Oh, don't forget you need different tires for the upcoming winter.  Those Goodyear SuperCars could get you killed once the white stuff starts flying!

Yea I need to find a deal on some tires. Not sure if snow tires will be too grippy for me to have any fun.
