Just curious if anyone has used the Autolite plugs XP 5863 instead of the SP 534. The reason I am asking is I have always had good luck with Autolite plugs and am planning of putting in a set of these real soon in place of the SP 534's.

Any thoughts on the subject?

How many miles on your ride? Notice it's a'13.  The MC 534s should be good for a lot more miles than you likely have rolled up yet.  I have seen no indication of better performance with different plugs as long as they are intact, clean, and gapped properly (.032-.030).  Might want to spend your $$ on something else.

I am not looking for better performance, just going to put in some new plugs is all. I have almost 16k on the car now and with all my boosted vehicles I like to change the plugs once a year. It is cheap insurance against a fouled plug or a degraded plug. Boost tends to be tough on spark plugs. Mine are currently gapped at .030.

I was just curious if anyone had used the Autolites in their SHO is all.

I swapped out the Autolite plugs for SP-534, couldn't be happier.

Did you have issues with the Autolite's?

Honestly at first they performed better than the SP-534 though that quickly vanished and I started getting a slight hesitation. I pulled them out and after 10k miles they had a good amount of wear on them, replaced with SP-534 and it cleared the hesitation, been happy ever since.

I would stick with the OEM SP-534 ;)
