Oh I didn't know dealerships worked differently in Canada about inspections. That sucks! I would be furious if my vehicle was having issues and it was still under warranty and they said to wait a week to come in. I had actually changed my thermostat and bought some coolant from an auto parts store. I just felt like the coolant wasn't the right temperature rating. Drive to a dealership, told them for some reason my coolant was low and wondered if they wouldn't mind testing it real quick. A tech came out to my car (didn't wait in the line) tested it, then even took my car in and checked for leaks and said I was good to go. Maybe worth a shot just to see if someone could just look around for a min? If anything maybe they could give you a little piece of mind?
From the sounds of it, hearing air, and from these others experience with with hoses literally ripping or coming off, it does sound like a boost leak, this is something one of those experienced Techs should be able to figure out very quickly. Even if they can't fix it right then and there at least you could know oh ok there isn't a baby alien in there waiting for you to put your hand in the wrong spot. I don't know how u do it, but u sure must have a lot of patience to have no power and be like its ok see you in a week. I'd say my car has no power it won't drive, it's under warranty, I need a rental, like days ago. Then if they say it's ok to drive, then you can at least know if anything catastrophic were to happen that they gave you the ok to drive it and if your engine blows up, they'll have to go to bat for you instead of trying to dick around with the fine print of the warranty. Hope you get this sorted, sad to know there is an ecoboost on the road not ecoboosting
