New here owner of 2014 Explorer Sport

Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forums. Owner of a 2014 Ex sport. Trying to decide on which mod to use at this point :)

I hear positive results from Livernois motorsports regarding there 93V3 TUNE,pretty sure they were the first ones to tune the XSPORT,with an added 3-bar map you will see even greater results,good luck.

Welcome xsport, glad to have you and your '14 X here!  The tuner debate is a personal choice, depends on the specific features you are looking for.  If you want to upload & go, either tuner will be fine.  If you want to datalog & refine your tune remotely, Unleashed is the best choice ATM.  If you want to dyno tune your vehicle, either tuner can do it.

If you like the thought of datalogging, a good way to get your mind around it is to run a Bluetooth (or WiFi) OBD II adapter & Torque Pro (Android only) software.  Obviously not going to be as precise or have as many available parameters as a tuning device, but gets your head in the game :D

BTW, post up some pics of your ride!  When did you acquire it?

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Thanks Shodded! my sport is due for a wax and wash so I'll post pics as soon as I get it done! ;) I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to these things. I'm basically looking for the maximum power output and best MPG I can get from a tune. Also would like something safe given the extended warranty we got.

If you make your requirements clear to your tuner, you WILL get what you want.  No worries on that front!
