So, I decided a month or so ago that it would be a good idea to do the rear muffler delete mod.... whoops! So I thought, "let's buy some catless DP from LMS...... I had them installed today, and now I am REALLY regretting my muffler delete mod. The RASP.... my God..... the rasp. What have I done to my poor baby?! I have an appointment to get the factory mufflers put back on at 8AM in the morning! Hopefully this will DESTROY the rasp monster that has been created in my exhaust. I am hoping it will tone it down quite a bit until I can get the corsa cat back system, or find a muffler that gives some more sound with no more rasp. BUT I do absolutly love the sound of the car right now at idle, and under light acceleration. The turbos just whistle... my buddy said "dude.... it sounds like a turbo diesel truck!" Haha.... but then the rasp.... Does anyone have any suggestions on a muffler option that is proven? I am not ready to dump $1300 into Corsa. I will be doing that.... but not just yet.

You could use any muffler you want and just make a j pipe resonator like I did. No rasp and you get to pic any sound of muffler you want.

Check through this and see if you would be willing to go through with it.

I went and had the factory mufflers put back on this morning..... and MAN am I glad I kept those?!? The car is back to being drivable without plugging your ears. With the new catless downpipes I can hear the turbos really well in the cabin and through the intake. Sounds really cool now, and my neighbors are sure to thank me later.
