Front Parking Sensors

I have a 2011 MKS EB.  Recently, when coming to a stop sign or stop light my front parking sensors will go crazy.  They will beep rapidly, stop for a moment, beep once or twice and repeat randomly.  There is nothing covering the sensors.  I've browsed the forums trying to find people who have had similar issues but haven't found anything.  Does anybody have any advise that might help me resolve the problem?  Thanks.

Sometimes the sensors do go bad.  Any impact to the body recently?

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Have you recently waxed the vehicle,sometimes little ammount of haze gets stuck in corners of the sensors causing false readings,like a radar detector????

No damage to the front end.  I thought maybe a rock chip or something but a visual inspection revealed nothing.  I haven't waxed it recently.  I did run it through the wash the day before.  Ironically it didn't happen at all this morning.  Thanks for the replies guys.

Glad it's back to normal.  Classic water in the electricals, probably!  May need to tape/seal down there at some point to prevent it from being a constant annoyance.
