I said an engine cover that LOOKS like the top of a V12. I was trying to make an example. But anyways, it's the point you are trying to make them look like something they are not.  The caliper covers are all shaped to look like a 4 piston brake caliper. The newer ones posted even have a fake brake line!

I'm not going to rant anymore about it. You are making your 2 piston sliding caliper look like a 4 piston caliper and it's not.

That's a good point... I am so mediocre in mechanic that I don't even know how to identify 2 or 4 pistons calipers lol!
But hey! Cool discussing about it, it helps all to make a better decision after all.
Last point I was thinking: sometimes to cover or cheat is not that bad... Look women for example (high heels, makeup, fake boobs, etc.). All to cover something they are not, but to feel prettier and please us too. Guys don't wear makeup, high heels or fake tits, but we have cars for that! Lol

back to the mgp's i had my guy tap them to the caliphers just to make sure didn't come off & then found some touchup paint to match the color of the mgps & unless you look hard you don't even notice it & chad mine are red w/ black letters sho which i like because my sho is not suttle nor do i want it to be. old man symdrone!!!!!!!!! & on engine cover i'd give anything to fine someone close by that could cold dip it with carbon fiber look like bpd has.

I'd have to agree the standard covers are fine and as nice of a job the company has done with the new style it's too ricer for me.  They do look good.  But it's like slapping on sticker for parts you don't have.   But to each there own and for a show car I understand the draw to make everything look it's best.

I went this morning for a first visit to Strada Italia in Montréal. They have or soon will have a distributor in Vegas, so they will be able to ship in the US as well. Prices for the set of 4 are between 250-400$ shipping including. If you take the higher-end model, Wheel spacers will be needed and there will be an extra charge for them, but I still don't know the price.
I will be going with tthese one. Since I will be changing color most likely next April, I chose to go with the yellow ones, so that the color will fit my next car color (grey, blue, green, purple?).
Here are a couple of pics while on the lift. We just put them temporarely in place to see if the color fits. They look much better when the ones in the rear will be there too, the car will be sitting down and the Wheel spacers will be installed (which btw should give a more muscular stance)...
Next step is to bring them the car again for a couple days so that they can take all measurements and put them on the computer, so that they can have them custom made... To tell you the truth, I convinced them that a few of you guys would be interested in them. They will fit perfectly (unlike the MGP covers that need to be hammered to stay in place and then when rust starts, they can come out (apparently)...). These are powdercoated and are a perfect fit... so will the wheel spacers (no universals will be used).
I'll keep you posted when more progress will be made... If ever anyone has by any chance the exact measurements of all the brake components, maybe it could save them some time. They unfortunately do not have the scanner at this time and need to take measurements manually and write them on Autocad program to have a virtual brake on computer...
Cheers!

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!
