Does the explorer have a PTU and what is it exactly?
2013 explorer sport
LMS tuner stat 160 3 bar magna flow v8 91 map
k&n H&R spring
retrofit FXR bi-xenon projectors done by lightwerkz 
all lights replaced with leds from daytimebrightlites

Yes it does. The ptu is part of the awd system..  it's basically your transfer case.  Stands for power transfer unit I believe.  It's job is to direct the horsepower to the wheels.
