Wow, that's an interesting fix for the problem! Everyone should feel free to change dealerships when something like this happens, including trying on a Lincoln dealership instead. If that does not work, bug Ford National Customer Service (NCS) directly. They at least have a rep on the Ford Edge Forum that helps us out on a regular basis getting the right people involved, and more often than not, it works out satisfactorily. If you are unsatisfied about a dealership's response to you, lodge a complaint with the NCS as well.
