Ecoboost Performance Durability Question?

So I have to ask what you all think the max safe horsepower and torque limits are on the V6 Ecoboost?  I have not seen or heard, but only one or two engines failures to date.  One members meth tank ran dry which I would not consider that anything more than operator error.  How many of you are at, near, or past 400 whp.  How many miles have you driven at that hp/tq range?  Open discussion please.

405whp sense Sept 2013 65Kmi only major problem was PTU DIED AT 60200MI! Just as the forum was just starting to think that we need to change the PTU oil every 30kmi. And I ran the tune only from Mar 2011-Sept 2013 I have had my car from 00000002mi.

Awesome Shoman04.  Do you think the Ecoboost can hold say 450 whp if tuned correctly?  Safe to say at least?  Love your car.

Where is BDP?  He is making close to 400 now isn't he?

Yup, the ATP turbos, Stage 2 I think.  He went with a "safe" power level, as he has worked hard to get the SHO to where it is.

WHERE IS bpd? Me and bpd have been friends sense 2010 over at TCCA (I had a 1993 SHO). I join him over at EBOF 2mo after he started it. I was a starting member here with DR and EcoBrickBOB. I was busy on all 3 until I change shift. After changing I have only time to be here. bpd is supervisor cop for his home town he may have change shift and had to reset his time.

450whp that DR world!!!!! But all the big turbo guys I think are just under 450whp. I don't remember what bpd said his big turbo at the wheels is but his METH is 402awhp

What was Bambic's highest number on his Flex?  Did he break anything in the motor?  Pretty high I thought.

If I recall he got the Flex up to 640whp before the transmission started showing signs. I'm sure he'll chime in soon enough though.

Currently I believe bpd's SHO is 443 awhp and 456 awt.

Seems, from discussion on this forum, that 400-450 awhp is the range discussed as upper limits of power without current evidence of accelerated drivetrain component failure.... and that the tranny/PTU are the weakest links.
