Stop what you are doing. Run, don't walk, and do everything you can to get this V8 tune in your car. I have been impressed with this car since I bought it and even more impressed after the first tune. But always felt it was a little soft compared to other cars that I have owned. Soft no more as this thing officially has a beast mode now.
Thank you Livernois for knocking it out of the park.

The fellas at LMS kindly loaded up the v8 3 bar onto my tuner cache this afternoon.
Going to try her out.
Coming from v8 2 bar, which is pretty doggone impressive itself. .

It's where I came from.... Your impressions will be important... I believe my engine runs and sounds better.  I also noted all the power and immediate throttle response with no turbo lag... but smoother and crisp (but not harsh) shifts (like I had before with plain v8 initial load), plus more available above 60mph.

I also just loaded up a new 3bar tune from LMS... its only a 2011 car so dont think its v8, but im really happy. It seems real snappy and crisp. Very smooth midrange power that pulls damn hard for a car this size..

So excited; 3-bar and t-stat for me too -- should be running next week.

I'll schedule a dyno session then to see what it does from last time I did a pull.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Does the v8 tune affect and apply to 2011 SHO?

This is a 2013+ only option for the V8 tune.

I did some slightly less spirited driving this morning and I am enjoying this tune even more. The throttle response is much more balanced and eager on tip-in and the vehicle seems to find the right gear now without any hesitancy. The car feels like a completely different vehicle now and I could not be any more impressed, that is until V9 comes out.

I've enjoyed the 3-bar V8 tune as well for the past few weeks.  I have a drag race event this weekend so i'll be able to post up a comparison if it's actually faster or not.

Very interested to see the results from the track and this tune has to be faster.
