Couple mod Questions

So I finally got some ca$h together and I'm pulling the trigger on some mods.  I'm still on a budget so I won't be going too crazy.

1) PPE down pipe from Eco Power parts. These are a definite. My question is about the thermal coating. What does it do? Is it necessary?

2) 3 bar map, maybe. I'm not getting meth or upgraded turbos at this time. Will the 3 bar map and a trip to LMS for dyno tune do any good?

3) hot pipes, again from Eco power. I know these are a must with higher boost levels. Will I need them with just a 3 bar and good tune? Should I get them anyway so I don't have problems down the road with the plastic tuning falling apart? Same question with the thermal coating. What about BOV mounts, none, stock, or Tial?

4) I'm also considering nitrous. My dad has an unused kit on his 08 Bullit Mustang. (He's putting everything back to stock to sell). Any advice on how to install in my SHO? Would I need a tune for nitrous? If so, does that mean I would have to run a non nitrous tune while not using the nos, then load another tune when I'm using it?

Other mods I'm going with are window tint, wheels (maybe), Corsa exhaust, possibly some hydro dipped engine parts, and some other small misc stuff. I need to one up with a plan and budget my funds accordingly. The downpipes are going to be on order this week. Can't pass up that sale. Thanks 😆

It's also frankly an attitude thing... like having confidence because your underwear is clean without holes.  :P

Nothing  really ... mostly  asthetiics .

Get the 3 Bar  , for 80 ish dollars it's worth the little extra $ as it Allow the ECU to function more effectively and you can get better tunes with a 3 Bar .

Since you have no hard core aspirations I would say yes get the Basic aluminum hot pipe kit that utilizes the OEM BOV's . Thermal coating is not proven to provide any real world gains at this time and I don't think it is worth it .... Powder coating is adequate from an asthetics approach . Stainless steel is an option as well again I don't see it being necessary unless someone else can tell me why .
Either way Aluminum or SS , if you want to do Meth or Nitrous ask for the bungs to be added to the Hotpipes ..

As far as Nitrous is concerned I am going that route as well .  Unless A true plug n play kit comes out Meth is just to messy of an install for me to consider .

I don't think any tune would need to be revised for Nitrous use ... could be wrong though .
As far as the rest you want to know maybe 4DRHTRD  could answer that .
2013 SHO  ....  not mine anymore

SW's answers are correct.

The 3Bar MAP, even at conservative boost levels allows the ECU to receive and interpret the data for the intermittent spikes in boost above 14.5 psi or so that occur normally in tuned cars.   A trip to LMS will allow a hotter tune... but the 3BAR option can be obtained without going anywhere with either major tuner, and this includes mods for CAIs, DPs, exhaust, etc..  Don't put in the 3BAR until you have loaded a tune for it... car will throw DTCs and CELs plus run poorly.... I wanted to run the new v8 tune a while before I had it modded for and installed my 3BAR... some comparison work.....
