I was asking to get a better understanding of what would need to be blocked in order to prevent all exhaust gases from re entering the engine. It was common practice on previous cars to throw on a block off plate, and use HP Tuners to disable CELs. I am wondering if anything other than changing to VTA would need to be done in order to prevent all exhaust gases from recirculating. I am also wondering why LMS would say that they see no benefit from VTA.
