Trouble?

Took SHO for spin to store. Car would not shift gears. Would over rev, and still not shift. I put car into manual and tried to shift manually, and nothing. Pulled car over. Restarted engine and drove off. Same thing.

This time, car would not even go into gear initially. Finally did, but the shifts were inconsistent and car would still over rev and not shift. Seems I've had something with the transmision ever since installing LMS tune. But I dont drive car enough to say there is definte problem. After 6 months, I only put 4000 miles on car in which roughly 3000 are with tune. I did not have problem before hand.

Is this something others are seeing or have seen? Starting to wonder if the LMS tune is flawed on my car, or is there a problem with car itself? I removed tune and got DTC P00C2. Which says bad turbo bypass valve. Could this be causing my issues?

I had / have this problem but only when I'm in sport mode car won't shift unless I put in drive or shift manually your problem sounds a bit more intense. .  I'd contact dealer for sure

Could be the ECU not accommodating a stuck open wastegate, so overrevving to try and build the expected power?  Don't know whether it would due to LMS tune or stock tune.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

I haven't seen a tune adversely affect the shifting...just the opposite, some people have experienced improved transmission shifting after installing tune.  Hope it's nothing serious and you can get it corrected quickly. Please keep us updated.

Think I will return car to stock and have dealer check it out. But the wastegate issue, if I understand the ECU, car should shift regardless because wastegate, throttle pressure, speed all are separate factors that dictate when to shift. But I could be wrong.

Fill us in on what the dealer says. I have heard of shift issues with a tune over revving but never heard about not shifting period.

I would put it back to stock and disconnect the battery for a few hrs and see what happens while it resets everything.
