Can't seem to find the Livernois post about the new tune for 13+ SHO's and XSports.. must be late..

That's because it's gone!

If it was announcing 93v8, I was emailed that tune yesterday. I requested a 3bar tune, and I got the 3 bar, plus the v8.

But, wonder why the thread disappeared.

It was on this forum. Talked about 10 more HP the elimination of the cw tune that some people need and it fixed the 1-2 shift issue that some people also have. It was here one minute and gone the next. Said to send them your mods and mycal  serial number and they would get you the tune. It applied to 13 and up SHO and XSports. Will be interesting to see what happen.

They shouldn't have posted that at all, it took me awhile of internal debating to remove it but they just went around the vendor agreement. I've sent them a PM and I'm waiting for a response.

OK..I understand. It was just weird seeing that post which contained very useful info for us 13+ owners here one minute and gone the next. They do need to contribute if they are selling stuff here.

Got the T-stat changed... If I can get the plugs re-gapped I'm loading 91v8 (crappy AZ gas!) with mods for DPs and T-stat. Hope to get a dyno as well as drive a bit... after the darn coolant burps....

...following this I'll have anthony add the 3BAR mod to the tune, install my 3BAR MAP sensor, drive a bit, and plan a recheck comparison dyno.... really want to know if it makes any difference in performance with stock turbos after talking with Anthony yesterday.

We have some great news for our customers with the Mycal tuning device for the 2013+ Explorer Sport and 2013+ SHO models. We have just released a new tune revision that has some very noticeable improvements in engine performance, transmission performance, and overall drivability characteristics. Our new tune files have gained up to 10hp more over our previous tunes on the dyno. We also did away with the need for the (CW) tune, and have improved upon the "no shift" condition present on these cars on the 1-2 shift. This 1-2 shifting issue has even been present on completely stock vehicles that we have encountered, so this is a big improvement in that area!
