climate control question

New to the forum and the car, 2014 sho, which I got just couple of weeks ago.  I'm interested to see if any one can help me with the climate control programming, as I read the manual and did not see anything about how to adjust the fan speed so every time I turn the climate on, the desired fan speed turns on. For example, every time I turn the climate to on, the fan speed blows at the maximum speed and I have to adjust it down every time. I did notice that when I leave the climate on and shut the car off, the climate will turn on with the car and it will resume where it was before. Is there a fix to this or is it locked in to computer and not adjustable? Thank you in advance for your help.

It cools the temperature most efficiently on full blast for ac and for heat it will wait for coolant in operating range. I do understand why it kind of sucks there should be a climb over a minute or 2. On a side note I wonder if you can even hear ac in rolls

I leave mine on full auto and 70 degrees all year long. The only this I change is turning ac mode on during temps greater than say 70 degrees.

Never ever touch the fans.

The car will switch from hot to cold air as needed, plus adjust the fan.

If it's 100 degrees out, moving the temperature to "low" will not make it any colder any sooner.  When you stay on full auto, the car will adjust both to maintain the temp you set.

Actually drives me nuts when people get in my car and turn the ac temp all the way Dow to get it colder faster. It does nothing.  Same with the heat.

70 degrees. All year long. Auto rules.

Yep the heater always is as hot as it can get... unless the blend door mixes cool air once temp is reached and the ac is as cool as it can get when it's on.  I never touch it either... except I use 73 for passenger and pilot.... car decides ac or heat and fan speed as well as how much goes to the rear in the dual setting (which I also leave on all the time).  On remote start it resumes the mode where it was at shutdown.

The only time I touch it is to turn it off while I load a tune.

If you have the Sony radio just touch the "+" symbol on the dash center stack, same for temp settings... it is capacitance so only light touch is needed as no mechanical button exists.
