Is LS1 a trademark? How do you know they did not and have a licensing deal? Not standing up for Ford here (well maybe a little) but they HAVE TO defend their trademark or it is GONE. Thats the law - now they could be friendly and let it be used here with a nice disclaimer/licensing agreement, but to dis them for defending the copyright is just silly. I HOPE (are you listening Ford) that they do play well - there are alot of Ford ambassadors around here and it would be ashame for us to be alienated by the legal dept.
