That turbo is freaking nuts! I would be kinda worried about sucking a bird r something into the turbo!

LOL... No birds, but one missing potbelly pig, LOL   ........Dan's 1/8th mile was consistently below 4 seconds in this boosted Mustang!... Ford Racing Development in action for the cobra jet!

I'd like to have Dan Millen's champion 2011 Mustang and the turbo you see in the front of it! That's really ecoboost!

Jeezus, there is nothing ECO about that boost, lol.

Still damn impressive.

I actually asked and the answer is yes, but as I understood it the set-up functioned like a kind of two stage turbo

Yep, BMW had a lot of success with this twin scroll in their 335's and 135's inline sixes.

that article links to a V8 ecoboost for the future GT500's code named the roadrunner (to beat the coyote 5.0 engines). Bacically says a TT5.0 yo replace the suoercharged huge 5.4 or 5.6 what ever thay are now. I think there was a hieght issue with the Eaton / TVS blowers fitting under the next gen Mustanf hoods. Anyway at what point to they stop calling TT engines "eco" ? At +600 hp ?? lol
2013 PP SHO LMS 93V10 tune, 170* T stat, 3bar, K&N drop in, plugs re-gapped, 4in exhaust tips.
UPDATE - 130K miles =blown engine. Unleashed tune and EBPP upgrade turbo billet wheels / Turbo Smart WGA's on a bran new long block. Let's get this SHO on the road !

Roadrunner is actually the Boss motor.  The rumor mill I keep hearing about is a 2016 GT350 with a 5.2 flatplane crank motor.  It's on my shortlist as is a C7 vert.

I'm surprised it's not the 2.7 ecoboost going in the Mustang and a "fun" Fusion.  My company did the assembly line for the 2.7 and I was anxiously waiting to hear where it was going.  Looks like it's just F150's. :(  Looks on Wikipedia like it's more built for torque, which explains it's place in the F150 I suppose.  320hp and 370ft-lb.  I'd like to see a 300hp Fusion, though I'm perfectly happy with my MKS now and would not go back to a Fusion.

Ha nothing ECO on anything over 500 hp in my opinion no matter how many turbos you strap to it...
