First off I just want to say how impressed I am with the level of service Torrie provides to his customers! As a branch manager at a bank, customer service is what I preach and Torrie hit it on every mark!
Now, I finally installed my tune and I can't be more thrilled! Shifts are quick and crisp and the power is nice. Spins from the dig and spins going into 2nd, brings a big grin to my face. I can't wait to do more! Probably intake, Corsa, 3bar, Downpipes and meth at the end.

I'm hooked!

How do you data log? I'm still new to this device and don't know my way around? Do you log off the SCT device or torque?

The best way is to use both the SCT device and a laptop with LiveLink software downloaded.  This is what Torrie prefers.  FYI

If you need help PM me.  I can send you a configuration file that makes it real easy.

Just wanted to write a little follow up message regarding the tune. I spent a few minutes yesterday doing some data logs and sent them to Torrie, today I got a revised tune. It's either mental or I feel like the car is running even better! Shifts great and power feels stronger! Spins first and second gear which is impressive!

Torrie is the man!

Keep us updated on this customized tune!  If you can, post a 0-60 video so we can all enjoy the sound the "view" :)

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

This post is not intended to take anything away from Torrie.  In fact, as soon as the weather improves, I will likely try his tunes, too.  However, just for perspective, when you go from stock to tuned -whether Torrie or LMS - it is a grin-inducing, butt-puckering, WOW experience.

When stock, my MKS wouldn't break the tires loose on pavement at all.  It ran really good, though - I timed it from 0-60 in the low 5 second range.  With the LMS tune, it will break the tires loose from a dig or from a slow roll.  It will also chirp the tires strongly on the 1-2 shift.  It will now go from 0-60 in the low 4 second range.  All of that with NO negatives as a daily driver.

My point is that these cars respond very nicely to tuning.  I appreciate the fact that we have tuners who are great to work with, add tons of performance and also care about safety/durability.  Afterall, going crazy with boost, timing or whatever only to have engine failure is NOT a good experience.

Great post Brucelinc. My Flex is a daily driver and is tuned. Have no problems at all. Ran a bone stock MKS at track last night. He ran a respectable 9.4 and I ran an 8.8 and I'm alot heavier.  So that's a great example of how these guys can do Their magic and keep them very reliable
