Yep the turbos are toast wink wink now you can tell the wife with a straight face.

Honestly though it looks normal. You dont have any cats so you will get a little something now and again. Its really minor. Was that a cold start up?

Engine was still warm ... had been up to temp earlier for about 30 minutes .

It should mostly smoke when the engine is coming down to idle UNLESS you had quite an amount of oil burning. At that point you would notice the smell and it would probably have a bluish tint. I'm sure it is just water vapor. Also, you would see a hint of smoke right at start up. I noticed that on my car after the second time I tracked it. Wasn't worried about it because that was the only time I noticed it.

I wouldn't worry a bit about that amount of smoke if it indeed is. My Mazdaspeed 3 smoked a little when I put an off-road pipe on it and so does my turbo Mustang with straight exhaust. You wouldn't notice a small amount of smoke with cats.

I would have somebody follow you on the highway and video a sequence of acceleration and deceleration and report back what you see then

Swamp will need to make sure another EcoBoosted vehicle follows him. Otherwise, they may not be fast enough to get good video!

In all seriousness, I don't think there is a problem with the hairdryers. It's probably just a little paranoia.

I go with oil burning off from new downpipes (mfr coating) and catless too.  Note the bluish vapors only on initial jab at the throttle.  Just check once in a while till sure.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!
