Just finished a 2,300 mile road trip in the Explorer Sport. Stl to Orlando and back.

Generally had the cruise set between 70 and 85 the entire way. Got a little better than 22 mpg for the 2,050 highway miles.

Overall. Very happy with the SPORT. Would have rather been in the SHO for such a long drive. But my girls liked the extra room.

The drive home yesterday, I did all 1,025 miles myself in 15 hours and 15 minutes. Stopped only twice for gas. My wife and kids basically slept the entire way. So I just powered on.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Welcome back, glad everything went smooth. I'm going to the outer banks this June from cleveland Ohio.  Not looking forward to the drive, but the beach will be nice.
