Any regrets with your purchase?

Bought the car brand new with 4 mi,was very excited 2 months later a tick sound from front end,still not fully resolved,month later drivers seat noise like its loose or something,when stopping alittle squeak and minor grind from brakes,car has 9400mi,inside feels kind of cheap especially the dashboard.i always supported American pride,buy American drive American,lately the clock is ticking,forgot to mention the f1s are half gone,looking for tires soon.sorry for all the complints you spend close to 40k +taxes and interests fees =50k with no signal lights on outside door mirrors??

I actually put F1's on my car around 50K.  Currently at 76K and still have 5/32nds of tread.  So I should get 35-40K of use out of the tires.  For 40K in the Euro market you're getting  a C250, base 3 series, or A4.  For the performance/options you can't touch a better car for the money.  One car that has my interest is the Chevy SS.  A little higher in price, but can be had next year with the manual trans and magnetic ride suspension.

Yup .... it's a minor thing but the SHO and MKS don't have turn signals integrated into the mirrors , yet the cheaper Fusion and MKZ  have em ...... go figure .

Why all the buzz about lights in the mirrors??  That is pretty much absent from my list of wants and needs, regardless of MSRP.

Guys don't get me wrong,i love the car that's why my wife hates me,its just those few issues with the front end and etc,The other day went to the dealer for a complimentary oil change,while waiting was checking out a fusion the car felt more solid,especially the sheet metal,spoke with the service manager regarding that he smiled and said on the sho they to compensate on the sheet metal because the car is so heavy,if the sheet metal was more durable car will weigh about 5,000,no regrets here.

I'm young but I prefer a simple cars give me power and traction.  Remote start and heated seats steering wheel and I'm happy. I do like the blis system though does work good

And you also have cars that cost $15K+ more than don't actually have cooled seats or a heated rear seat.  E class have ventilated front seats not a/c.  Also no heated rear seat.

I assure the steel on you SHO is other same gauge steal as any other. I know on the fusion ford has begun to play with thiner steel. But this only being used on the roof. But typical sheet metal thickness is .30 the fusion roof is .25.

hasn't the 2015 F-150 gone to aluminum even?

Can anyone tell me why all cars aren't aluminum?

Traditionally, the reasons were that aluminum is not as crush resistant or rust-resistant as steel, despite the obvious weight savings advantage.  Not to mention that iron is just a tad bit more abundant than aluminum.  Even now, we want T304 stainless steel piping on our exhaust systems rather than galvanized aluminum.  I guess with advances in safety engineering and environmental protection techniques, it is more feasible now to use Al instead of Fe-Ni.  Body shapes are also more complicated, and aluminum is easier to shape than steel.  Weight savings = better mpg = happier EPA.  IMHO.
