Very impressed with fit and finish, and especially torque. As with most vehicles on a car lot the gas was damn near on walk so that alone can make a car feel a whole lot faster. If this came in a AWD, I would have to have it. It gets way to damn squirly in the rear end for my taste though. I couldn't test drive a 5.7 AWD cause I can't find em here, buy has anyone ran their SHO against a Mopar 5.7 liter AWD. I am curious as to how this goes. Both cars have their pluses and minuses, but the thing that appeals most to me is that there seems to be more for it in the aftermarket, and the SRT steering wheel is nothing short of amazing, it feels awesome and looks just as good.

I was a Mopar guy prior to picking up the SHO. I had a Dodge Magnum R/T AWD that had a nice dose of modifications. It was a great vehicle and the sounds of the V8 were just intoxicating with exhaust and electric exhaust cutouts. The only problem with the Mopar AWD cars is the out right performance limit. They are just very hard to make go fast on the track as they are prone to blow transfer cases and mods are pretty expensive.
Really the best option out of the Mopar stable for AWD and big power is the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8. I had the first generation WK1 and it was an outright beast. Huge power, great sounds and very unique styling and low production numbers. The second gen WK2 is just as capable, all though at this point the prices are still hovering at a rather high level, with $40,000 just barely getting you into the used market.

I love the Cherokee SRT8's, but couldn't get past the gas mileage while looking at them.

I only averaged 15.2 mpg with the WK1. WK2 is a little better, but no where near the Ecoboost platforms.

I don't have any comment on performance and such, but I'm with you in the interior - and that steering wheel. Yummy.

My buddy just picked up a new Jeep SRT8 2014, went 13.1@104, I gave him crap because on 100 octane and a tune I went that fast in the Flex. :)
Remember this is Phoenix and 1600 DA that night was GREAT AIR for us.

I am impressed with the 13.1 at 104mph. I haven't seen any newer Jeep SRT that went that fast. One night, with my wife's Lincoln MKT with only a tune from LMS, I outran 3 Jeep SRT8 on the 1/8 mile... They couldn't believe it, me neither. I have a video on YouTube Under steve142857...
I love their look, but gas mileage would be an issue without mentioning the price tag at first too.
The new Explorer Sport 2014 that I will get tomorrow to replace the MKT is 15K$ cheaper here in Canada compared with the Jeep SRT 2014! Just a tune and the Explorer will be as fast... I'll try to keep it stock for a year : /

I got spanked a while back by an SRT Charger with the 6.4.  He went a 12.4 @ 114 to my 13.1 @ 104.  This was probably close to a year ago, right when those cars were coming out.  I hope he wasn't fully stock.

Well... consider that his engine had almost twice the displacement and that there are a number of 3.5TT powered vehicles... SHO and Flex for sure that could take him with safe mods and tunes... (no dis intended , just not sure about the others).  I have owned Cummins powered trucks, but since the 457 (real) hemi met it's demise I haven't owned chrysler...
So just mod so that i doesn't happen again.... or if you have a sucker..... ask for a "displacement" handicap... LOL

They do look great. Back in the day i owned a SRT8 300 but the constant electrical issues plus transmission issues (software) and broken shifter, etc. I ended up trading that for a Genesis R spec, then finally got back into a Taurus after looking at a 13 300srt8 but i couldnt bring myself to do it after taking a bath on the 300 before.
