Hotter coils

Good morning all!  I was looking at summit racings website and stumbled upon some msd and accel coil packs for my 2013 sho.  im considering taking this step along with colder iridium plugs.  I know one of the few advantages i may gain is a bit better mileage and possible quicker throttle response.  has anyone entertained this mod?

I would like to see a comparison between stock coils and the others, I would also stay away from anything Accel.

I know that stock coils have proven to be the best on Lightnings, 03/04 Cobras, and GT500s.  I would assume our stock coils would fall under the same.  I have put accel coils on my L, just for the shear cost difference.  $50+ each for stockers vs $200 for the set of 8. 

When I had my 00 GTP(supercharged 3.8 V6), I bought the Accels and I removed them as I had high rpm stumble.

I have to second, do NOT go with anything Accel. I have learned expensive issues in the past with their injectors and manifolds. They have the facade of a quality company, but put out junk.

yeah I kind of figured that accel was more chinese ebay special than quality parts...

No reason to change the coils out, nobody has had any issues with them.

Does anyone make the solid coil cores that go onto OEM coil packs?
