First let me start by saying this forum is awesome. I want to thank everybody for all the info and help that they post for all to see. I have gotten some great ideas from all and started my list of purchases I need to make, unfortunately I'm gonna have to wait a little longer. As I was doing my taxes for the year, I have come to the conclusion Uncle Sam feels he has not taken enough of his share from me, and now I must pay. Apparently he dose not own a SHO to understand my dilemma. Just the way it goes sometimes.

Bummer... Screwed up government priorities I'd say. Don't lose faith, had it happen to me and it won't last forever even though it seems like it now.

Oh man, that stinks.  Hope you won't have to keep the mods on hold for too long.

Mods won't be put off to long. As far as the taxes, Its all good. However for all with kids, When they turn 17 they no longer qualify for the tax credit no matter what day of the year their birthday is. Lessons learned.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

In 2013 uncle Sammy took $149,000 in federal income tax from me.... I might get 15% of that back....

Damn, Uncle Sam was not that hard on me but I definitely understand. I hope you get that 15% back. Not sure how the government justifies all of it but it is what it is and we have to deal with it. Hell I can't believe how much social security has gone up this past year. Might need two jobs just to cover everything they like to take.

They always get what they think is theirs. We can't fight it. Just wish it went to better use for something that made a positive impact and not all the bullshit we all know it really goes too...
