cool thanks for the info I tried to mess with it but couldn't figure that out. My previous G35 did the fronts and the rears if you wanted by holding the button down longer they would roll down second, but no sunroof. Never thought about trying to roll them back up that way though.

Yeah my 13' explorer doesn't do it either. After I figured it out on the SHO I kept trying on the explorer but I guess it doesn't have that option.

This is neat. This is something I used on my previous car quite a bit during summer. Very happy to have the option back!

Ford seems to think only the Lincoln owners are mature enough not to try and close the windows or roof on their friend's arm.   That is the only explanation for the MKS'/MKT' ability to close all with the fob, and the SHO/Flex inability.  SHO/Flex owners are obviously hoodlums.  As to the Explorer, man, I cannot even imagine what Ford  thinks of you guys, they don't trust you with anything.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

I wish it would open all the windows and close them.

I want to smack whoever at Ford decided the $50k car wouldn't get one touch down/up on rear windows but I got them on my $20k Ford Focus I had previously. Stupid idiots!

Agree. Lincoln has all 4 auto up and down windows too.  You should not have to buy a Lincoln for that.

well, don't us Lincoln owners deserve a little something exclusive for the premium?  LOL...

actually when i was looking to purchase used, the MKS-EB was actually on average a little cheaper than the SHO.

however, yall have a few exclusives; besides the few hundred pounds savings in weight (probably due to the MKS' extra NVH controls/remedies) the 2010-2012 SHO has the seat massager option and split rear seat thats not available on the MKS.

I had posted this before, but it seems appropriate for the thread which has morphed into various Lincoln/Ford differences:

My summary:  ONLY speaking to pre 2013 models:

All 2009-2012 MKS have HID, auto hi-beams, power tilt/telescoping wheel, and power rear sunshade.  Only some SHO have those features.

All MKS have articulating headlights, not available on SHO

All MKS have LED tail lights

If equipped with a sunroof:  MKS has dual sunroofs (one sliding, one fixed) and power dual sunroof sunshades , SHO has one sunroof and the sunroof sunshades are not power

MKS Fob can both lower AND RAISE windows and open and  CLOSE sunroof - SHO fob only lowers/opens.

2009-2012 MKS can be dealer programmed to have DRL (uses the foglights), SHO with HID can't

Optional MKS THX II sound is superior to the top optional Sony in the SHO

MKS has the little blind spot mirrors built into the outside driver's and passenger rear view mirrors (unless you have blind side alert), SHO does not have the blind spot mirrors (I don't think...at least not in 2010)

MKS longer warranty

MKS real wood and upscale interior

SHO is lighter

SHO nice grippy suade seat inserts

SHO much wider/better trunk opening/ folding rear seats for trunk access ***** HUGE difference to me****

SHO generally better handling

SHO has a performance Package (PP) option, MKS doesn't

SHO more muscular and "manly" in appearance

Car guys know what an SHO is and gawk, and generally don't know about the MKS Ecoboost

I believe the MKS is available with what is essentially the Performance Package.  it comes with the MKS 'Sport' model that has the red S on the MKS moniker.

I agree the MKS is more of a sleeper, one reason why i chose it over the SHO.  It also felt slightly more solid and rigid and the amazing THX sound system sealed the deal.  the SHO is a tick quicker (due to less weight) and probably handles a little better, but has a harsher ride.  and of course nearly all of the SHO mods are also available on the MKS as well...
