I like it, not a big big change, but rather a nice evolution. A bit less macho. By looking at the pics of the interior, I am not impressed. I hope the quality of the fabric is good.

I agree on the interior.  Too analog for me personally on the center stack and instruments.

I like it although the rear tailight section really reminds me of the look of the '67/'68 Barracuda tail.

I never said it was a fastback the word if is in there. If Ford made it in a fastback I would've had to buy one. I still love the wide hips on the car.

New Mustang is very nice.  The 5.0 has also been modified.  Supposedly going to push around 430hp and will have a forged crank and rods.

Interesting bit of nostalgia here.  On December 5, 2013 there was an article posted by a local TV station with an interview of Gail Wise, who bought the very first Mustang (for about $3300) in 1964.  She is to help Ford announce the 2015 model.
:ford:
A quick read. She still has the car!

Not sure yet on the look, going to wait and judge after I see one in person at one of the new car shows next yr.  Im curious about the new 2.3 EB motor.  Wonder if Ford will trickle down that one down into other modes.  Imagine that motor in AWD Fusion, would be a fun ride for sure.

Cool story!  Thanks for putting it up.

Thanks Dave, I thought it was an interesting story.  And who would have guessed that a school teacher who bought the very first mustang ever sold would have kept it for 49+ years!

Wonder who bought the first SHO?

The new design is simply beautiful. It is a more refined look, less "macho", like already mentioned above, and just really flows well, front to back. The Mustang looks classy, IMO, for the first time. Honestly, just can't believe how great it looks.

I briefly considered a Mustang, when shopping for a new vehicle here recently, before I bought the SHO. Just simply can't make do with a coupe. I've never owned one, and I likely never will, unless it is a roadster, which would only serve as a toy/project. Need four doors every day!

The more I look at the pix... the better I like it... Reminds me of the 67 Shelby 500 I had.  Not sure I like the "busy" dash but I'm sure I would love the V-8!!!!
