Greetings and salutations citizens. New 2011 SHO owner. Had car for 2 days. Yay. Looking to squeeze some umph from it. Stumbled onto livernois tunes. Is that any good and reliable? And a CAI.

Welcome!  Glad you are here!  There are some tuning and intake threads you might check out.  You also might want to consider just running the stock air box with a K&N panel.  But, if you want to hear more, by all means do an intake.  Both Unleashed and Livernois have many happy customers.  Probably couldn't go wrong with either.

Welcome, fellow citizen :)  Great color choice, and enjoy your new rocketship.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Damn, gotta spend some doe. They making it hard to resist. I had priced all this before and with the special its roughly $400 saved!

Future will install tune, CAI, then later the plugs and thermostat from unit. Will I need open the exhaust? Im not one for noise, I like the silent killer but will I be constipated if I don't open er up?

Down Pipes help, as does 3rd cat and mid-muffler removal.  If you remain stock the most you lose is around 25 hp.

Overall, very little gain for the money from an aftermarket exhaust or CAI.

I'd get the tune first, it's the biggest improvement dollar for dollar.... then dyno so you'll have a comparison.  Consider hardpipes to eliminate chances of turbo leak and upgraded BOV, then think about exhaling after you are pumping enough air to need it. 4DR can get (and designed/tested and used on his own 600+hp Flex) a boost activated cutout (no switches) that works when it should because the engine asked it to... not unlike what the '14 vette does.  He as video of it on another thread.  You should check it out.  I'm having me one... should be good for about 20-30 bolt-on WHP.

Here's the video:
