Should I keep the new tires???

So I just got a set of Continental extreme contact DWS's.  Good tires, so far very happy.  Here's my issue;  when I was at Discount Tire my other option was Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3.  The guy said to me they were both the top of the line and he recommended both as a good all season performance tire.  I have heard good reviews for both on this forum as well.  The guy did tell me that if he had to pick one set over the other, he'd go with the Michelins.  His reason was that customer feedback indicated that the Conti's have a softer side wall.  After a few weeks, I get where he's coming from. The Conti's are a few lbs lighter than the Michelins, and that was my tie breaker.  I have 30 days from September 3rd to go back and switch, but if I do, I'm pretty sure there's no going back.  So what's your opinion.  I'm not looking for 'I have tire X and never had a problem.'  So far the Conti's have exceeded my expectations, but if the Michelins feel a little more planted and more firm in the tight turns, I tend to take the turns quick (saves brakes), let me know.  If you're still reading, which you're probably not, thanks.

Pilot A/S3 are just out.  I have had Conti DW's and Pilot Super Sports on my Flex, each for around 25K and the Pilots are superior. They are more precise vs the Continentals. My sons have Conti DWS and have liked them. They have been around for several years, though may have been updated without changing name. The weight difference is varied from size to size so some Pilots weigh the same as Contis and some more. Check out TireRacks specs.

When I wear out my Conti DW's this winter, I am going to replace with Pilot A/S3's, so I don't have to switch to my Goodyear RS-A's for winter trips from FL to IA.

I vote for the Pilot Super Sports. I have owned them on a high performance car and you will not go wrong. They rock in every category but snow and ice.

I went with the A/S3 myself and I love them for being an AS tire. I had summer and winter tires on my Grand Prix GXP before this and I am happy with the grip from these knowing that I don't have to swap tires when the MI snow starts flying. Only time will tell how they do in the snow. So far I love the dry and wet grip, feel and response.

I have DSW's on my ST and I prefer the SHO's stock Michelins in any weather.

Now that I have a few thousand miles on the A/S3 I can say I'm really happy with them. Great ride under normal conditions. They hold very well in the turns when pushed hard and give great feedback on the limit. We have just had our first icy day and now a little bit of snow. This is my first AWD car so I'm getting used to that but I love the grip and confidence I get from the car and the tires. Very predictable in the snow when pushed. I got a nice bit of oversteer leaving work today, coming from FWD it was fun to be able to hang the rear out and stay on the gas as a carried it until I was straight.
