Chip Foose has a couple of designs very close to the flower wheel without the width limitations (unl;es you just want 8.5" wide wheels).  His wheels are very well made, but not the cheapest.

I've been thinking hard about upgrading my 19" to 20". This is the site that I've found that I personally like the best, as you'll being doing a wheel & tire package. The site shows about every wheel imaginable. Got mine picked out just waiting for weather to get better. A question for anybody, if you're going to get nitrogen in your tires do you really need to spend the extra money for new TPMS's other than minor inconvience of resetting the low air pressure light as will be keeping the 19" for winter usage to save new wheels.

Element also a good assortment as well as Victoria Tire, but the above was the best.
Also go to
http://www.willtheyfit.com/ to see how they fit on your car. On the '10 the offset on my wheels thru much looking is 39 & size of tire was 255/45/19 width 8", bolt pattern 5 x 114.3mm.

Personally I'd have the TPMS installed and working.  While nitrogen really doesn't leak like air the possibility of a slow leak from small puncture or from the valve stem could potentially give you a low enough tire to result in road damage to those new wheels you're looking at.

anyone have any recommendation on the maximum 'safe' offset for our cars (SHO/MKS) with getting new wheels?

i think the standard offset is 39 or 38.  is 35 too much?

I don't believe +35 is too much , that is what My 20x8.5 Giovanna Killis are.

dr:
using the site above a 35 offset should work find. I checked other sites like that one & using the wheels like kbecks with a 35 offset, not sure what his tires but with 245/45/20 tires should push tire out only about 10mm. that is starting with 255/45/19 on 8" wheels which the standard without PP are. That exactly my plan. going to go with conti dws's & vertini wheels w/35 offset. If somebody thinks i'm wrong please correct me, as am low tech. but 10mm isn't very much.
