Rotated the tires per the manual on our 12 SHO and the next day the low tire pressure light comes on. Still on today so will the tpms sensors relearn and the light eventually go off or do I need to have a reset done?

What did you do Jeff?

BlueSHO

One tire was at 28psi. Didn't think that would be low enough to trigger the alert. I guess the temp drop to around 20 was enough..

Mine came on today too.  I thought it might be the low of 20's we had last night.  But, I have been having occasional false alarms.  Didn't check because I was already on way to dealer.  So, I mentioned it to them.  They were at 36 cold yesterday

BlueSHO

What was your problem?

I don't know yet.  Same as Larry, mine has come on for a week, then gone off for a couple weeks a few different times.  One of them might have a weak signal.  I'll find out tomorrow if they had a chance to look at it.  Right now, my main concern is the headlights.

I hear ya. If it's not one thing it's another... lol

Well, they reset all my TPMS.  They also said that they get a ton of them this time of year.  One Escape had 28 out of 32 psi and had to be reset.  I still expect mine to come on again sometime.  They are all filled to 36 right now.  But, I have had the notice come on and go off a few times.  I still think one of them has a weak signal.  I'll find out when it's time for new tires.

Don't know if you have already double checked your spare but I think that was a big part of my issue.  I had 50 lbs. in the spare and it should have been 60 lbs.   Another part was that the tire gauge I was using was off by about 4 lbs. (low).  Now I'm checking tire pressure with two new gauges to make sure the readings match. No problems of late. I have my fingers crossed.

Yeah Larry.  I did check the spare last time.  It was low.  I pumped it up.  Didn't solve the problem.  I use a Slime bicycle gauge.  It could be off a bit, probably more accurate with higher pressures.  But, at least it isn't one of those slurpee sticks. LOL
