How much slower is a MKS over SHO

Stock for stock how much slower is a MKS than a SHO, and would a tune equal them out?

I would guess not much.  Softer suspension?  A little more weight?  Maybe a couple tenths.  Tunes being equal, same results.

There would be very little difference between a stock non-pp SHO and a stock MKS.  I think the spring rates might be same but the MKS has softer suspension bushings and maybe a smaller sway bar.  Mine does really raise it's nose when I get on it from a dig.

The BAM (big a$$ed moonroof) on the MKS would add some weight and there is a bit more structure in the trunk area which would add a little more.  I doubt if there is 100 pounds difference, though - about a 2/3 tank of fuel.

I know of MKSs that were in the 12s with just a tune.  TSS's MKS will do 0-60 in the low 4s with just a tune and a CAI.

I think car by car variations from the factory are about the same marginal difference as  MKS versus SHO.  In other words, not much.   I can hit 60, as Bruce stated, in 4.2 consistently (using 3 different measuring devices - G-Tech, MyCal, Aeroforce).  I have never run a 1/4 mile.   I don't recall seeing SHOs with only a Tune and CAI beating that 0-60...though maybe thats because most people talk about 1/4 mile times, not 0-60 times....but I am Old Skool.  LOL.

In all fairness though, I think I did get a quick MKS out of the box from the factory.  I was running 0-60 in 5.18 without mods and I think most MKS are in the 5.3 range with no mods.  It makes up for all the slow out of the box cars I have had  - it was my turn!

But again, bottom line, I would expect an MKS and SHO with the same mods to be close to neck and neck.

Just pick the flavor you like and enjoy.  I would say all the SHO's pp nonpp, and MKS's are within 1-3 tenths of eachother stock.  Variables like weather, fuel quality, elevation, DA, general car maintenance do make an impact.
