Used car values are skewed.  You don't even have an option to select PP or multicontoured seats.

KBB values mine at $37,250, which is only about $1500 less than what I paid.

What I have pretty much learned is that KBB is just about worthless for determining prices. KBB seems to always over value actual market prices.

I'm sooo freaking happy that the value of my '08 G8 is only a "few" grand below what I paid for her over 5 years ago, too!  She has 25k on the clock and I quite like the nice low mileage.  I used to drive her a lot, but not so much anymore.  I'd say in the last 3ish years I've only put about 3000 miles on her.

I paid $28k for my '11 SHO back in March and I thought that was a pretty good deal.  All of the other SHOs that I was seeing at the time were $32k or more.  There also weren't very many SHOs within 100 miles of me, either.... so I'm sure that had something to do with it.

It's a good opp to buy used, but still sad to see market value drop so quickly.

Did you hear that Holden is possibly going to shut down Commodore line permanently if they don't get some concessions in the next month.  This means that Caprice Police vehicle may be discontinued and that a very limited number of Chevy SS will be built.  So far only around 1,000 produced.  Another sad GM tale if it occurs

Holy balls!!  No, I did not hear that!  That would be horrible indeed!  I have always wanted to throw the GXP front bumper cover on my GT, so I should probably look at doing that sooner than later.  LOL!

EcoBrick Bob

Hit an Owl like one of my G8 friends in IA did... With insurance + deductible etc, it only cost him about $450.  GXP front covers are expensive!!!!!

s***, you used to be able to pick up a GXP bumper cover for super cheap a few years ago.

BTW, funny that I read your post about Holden.  I saw an email in my inbox from the G8 and SS forums regarding it like 2 hours later.
