2019 SHO extended warranty

I made an appointment to have a few issues looked at that (I anticipate) are covered under my extended warranty. There was a 3 week wait for an appointment, but I made it anyway.
The technician told me there'd be a service charge of $156.00 for each problem. If the issue is covered under warranty, I would only be liable for the $100.00 deductible.
This got me thinking; why couldn't he tell me ahead of time if each ish was covered?
I have the Ford Protect Care, PremiumCare coverage.
Can anyone suggest a trustworthy source I could research myself to investigate if these issues are covered or not? I was thinking of calling the warranty contract provider, but, frankly, I trust the intelligent people on this forum more than any dealer or warranty service provider.
Thank you.

most if not all dealers do it this way unless you have a working relationship with them. CYA.

there's always little items that are not covered like hoses and such that can end up being a PITA. but with premiumcare, you should have coverage for pretty much everything but maintenance type items, which are usually listed on the brochure.

2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Excellent data!
Thank you.
I do have a brochure but it's not as extensive as the links you provided. I knew going the forum route was the best place to start!

Thank you again for this great info. I took the car to the dealer & everything was covered! It was comforting to have the knowledge your info provided instead of worrying about it.
