Engine stumbles after injector install

Gray Brick

Installed upgraded Deatschwerks and car stumbles at light load. 


idle and under 20% throttle while driving the Flex runs fantastic.


No leaks in intake or associated items... did pressure test.


What gives?


Any suggestions?

AJP Tune (ATP+2) in progress , Livernois HPFP, 3 Bar MAP, UPR Catch Can, 100% Methanol w/ braided steel lines, 3" Downpipes -->2.5" X-pipe --> 2.5" Magnaflow exhaust, 2.5" air inlets to each turbo with cone filter, Custom water to air intercooler with chiller

Did you have your tune file adjusted for them?

I would start there 1st......

Is this under high gear at cruising speeds?   IE 5th or 6th gear without a downshift?
2010 non-pp, 98k miles, 3-bar,  .026 plugs, SNOW-KIT STG1, AJPTurbu tune#35, 15.5+psi
Best 0-60 public road 4.35s
Best 1/4 of 12.61 no DA correction

I will check the HPFP tomorrow.

I agree,  if it bails on and after 20% its fuel delivery.  the handheld should show a sudden drop in fuel rail pressure .. if it shows steady pressure i start thinking leaky injector or wetting the plugs somehow.

I will check the LPFP and HPFP for drop this weekend.


Deatschwerks seems to think it is the tune. Waiting to hear back from Brad.
