Was trying to get a full weight 11's run in tonight, ended up falling a hair short. Ran a 12.04 about half an hour after driving 50 miles to get there, then sat 2.5 hours and ran a 12.19, the half an hour later ran a 12.01. Drove home with a little over half a tank of gas, so if I would have shown up with a quarter tank maybe I would have gotten the goal.

Damn so close!!  I never race with more than 50 miles to empty.  I'll be between 25-40 usually.  Although I've been trying to make sure I'm at least 40.  I've been as low as 10 miles to empty and it's not worth an issue so I've been more careful.  I bring my own gas now so I can add whenever I want.
