I'm sure this has been beat to death... I'm aware of Gearheads elusive intercooler but does anyone have experience with any other options... Attached a short list from Rock Auto that I'd never heard of... I'm assuming there's a reason for it.

@StinkinLinkin13 you should look up @GotGrip? Write up on installing a intercooler on his car.

I looked into this when the gearhead intercoolers where first coming out, basically these are just oem replacement type intercoolers with no real gain to them. Cores end up being similar to oem with the only real difference I could find being the aluminum versus plastic end tanks

There are quite a few people on facebook that have used a mishomoto intercooler and I think one other brand, but aside from lowered IAT2's, nobody has shown any type of definitive proof of performance gains over stock as in either before and after dyno's or 1/4 mile runs.
Gearhead E30 tune, Gearhead intercooler, LMS firestorm hpfp, catted downpipes, corsa catback, 160 degree thermostat, 3 bar map, upgraded AD trans mounts, MSD coils, Nitto 555R drag tires on front, AR924 wheels and BFG sport comp 2 summer tires on rear, and an EPP intake.
