Hey how are people cleaning the engine bay without blowing up the charging system?  Im about 80% sure that last time i clean the engine bay i nuked the charging system even if i did not spray the alternator itself.

previously I would use the 'tire cleaner' and soak the areas i wanted to clean, then use the wash spray but not pull the sprayer trigger and use the lower pressure spray to rinse\wash..  good / bad ??

BPD how'd you do it ?

BPD goes to extreme measures, to the point of not driving it.

I keep mine pretty clean, however I don't drive mine very much either.

Just pressure wash it gently from a distance. The only real concern you'd have is not puddling too much water in your spark plug holes (there are rubber seals on the coils that should prevent this)... You car engine is exposed to the elements (condensation, water etc) despite it being "hidden" under the hood. I pressure wash the engine on all my cars regularly. Just don't dig the pressure washer nozzle too close as with anything and careful around the stickers and hoses.
