Those tires sucked on my g8. However my used CPO SHO came with Zenna Argus All season radials, which were really good for cheap tires....nice tread too. Was like 75 ea from walmart.com and my fav tire place SIMPLE TIRE .COM
Great cheap summer tires are General made by Continental tires in Germany,

245-45-20 GENERAL GMAX RS TIRES 360 AA A
Had sale at Simple tire 130 ea ....they always have free shipping
Sp542@.028, windstorm CAI, MSD coils, AO GH TUNE, GH intercooler, All Amsoil, General Gmax-rs summer tires, +PP, PP PADS,EDC rotors, Colinite 476s wax, used PPE DPs, Resonator | 3rd Cat Delete with custom X pipe, Dicunzolo Gen2 Trans Mounts|, 3 bar, stock thermostat,  TRACY LEWIS DESIGNED Team RXP, the Original oil separator.

6500rpm

While  not a huge savings, i bumped my Continental  Dws 02 up a size to P255/45r20 to fill the wheel well and the larger tire was about $30/tire cheaper with no negative  effects.
2013 SHO PP in Ruby Red Metallic, GTG Billet Grills, Duraflex Racer Chin Spoiler, DriveBright LED Driving/Turn Lights,160 T Stat, MSD Coils, All Royal Purple Lubricants, EPP Gen 2 Duel Intake and hotpipes,3 bar, Gearhead AO tuned!

No rub on hard turn acceleration or loss of TC in slippery turns?
Still like them? Most tires I check a bit cheaper in the size....

#4
Not even close to rubbing and the tire diameter is ever so slightly  larger, 1/4"+/- more sidewall and about 1/2" wider. Very negligible difference.
P245/45r20=28.68" diameter
P255/45r20=29.04" diameter
Less than 1mph off on the speedometer at 60mph.

MKS Tom

I will switch to 255/55/20 when I need tires.
2013 Lincoln MKS ecoboost, 70,000 miles.  3 bar map 93 tune (E30 in the future) by both AJP Turbo and Ortiz Performance.  PPE catted down pipes, EPP dual CAI (not yet installed so K&N drop in), .026 gapped SP542, 170 degree thermostat, Dynomax axlebacks, and Power Stop Z23 pads and rotors.

Currently running a set of these on my EB Flex, loving them so far, especially for the price!
