Everyone knows black is faster 🤣. I've been lurking in the background getting educated on this platform of FORD. Purchased this black beauty with 15K miles. Still Trying to figure out if it has adaptive cruise control.  Open to any advice on this car as my last Taurus was an all wheel drive 2011 Limited. Hopefully I'll  put on catted down pipes when I get the PTU flush to 20,000 miles and a washable Panel filter. Anyone from PA around West Chester?

Hopefully  oh you all are staying cool.

Welcome to the forums!

Don't be afraid to post any pictures of this beauty.

For the adaptive cruise control, when you set the cruise control, does it show on the dash something that looks like a car in a lane that cause a line or few above it? Also, on the older SHOs, you could see by the panel in the front bumper. Not sure how they are on the 13+

Welcome to the community, glad to see you and your 2019 SHO on here :D.  New to forced induction rides?

If you have the Performance Package, no adaptive cruise.  Otherwise, as Fearless said, there should be a blocked off area in the lower grille on the driver's side.

Maybe you can run your VIN on one of the numerous window sticker sites also.
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Another thing to try, call up one of the local Ford dealerships. Sometimes they can run the VIN through their system and pull the original window sticker. It is kinda a long shot but definitely possible.

We have a family friend here at one of the Lincoln dealerships and any time I am looking at buying a Ford or Lincoln, he is always able to pull a window sticker from the database for me.

Welcome to the forum!

I have to admit one of my favorite colors on the SHO is tuxedo black.  Glad to have you here, there is a wealth of knowledge on here not to mention a ton of very friendly and helpful members as well.   One of the easiest ways to tell on the adaptive cruise as another member touched on would be if it is a performance pack model it wouldn't have the adaptive cruise normally.  If you can check inside the vehicle just look for a traction control button above the shifter since only the PP models have a button to defeat TC.  Welcome again and feel free to give us a shout if there is anything we can help you with.

Is a catch can worth it? What's the most effective set up? I do have the window sticker,  no adaptive Cruise control

Yes the catch can is worth it.  I pull this out of mine every 3k miles and mine is a 2013 with the factory PCV revisions.  This is what goes through the PCV system and gets baked onto your intake valves if you don't have one.

Yes adding a catch-can is one of the best add-ons available for these direct injection engines to help eliminate issues / prevent oil and other contaminants from causing buildup inside your engine's intake manifold and the valves as SM105K mentioned also.  We offer a direct fit catch-can for the SHO that I would suggest that addresses these type of problems with the SHO and many other late model vehicles.  The factory PCV system ensures proper venting but allows the engine to consume oil. Our Catch-Can dramatically reduces this and many issues associated: Detonation, low oil levels, and oil buildup. They are designed, and manufactured 100% In-House here at our Dearborn Heights, MI facility as well.

Indeed! Check or monitor to see the amount of crud buildup inside your CAC (intercooler) with an oil dipstick and judge for yourself! BTW Welcome aboard. Z
