Hello all, I just picked up my 2010 SHO a couple weeks ago and I have been searching for some exhaust but it seems that all I can find is 2 1/2". Does anyone offer a full 3" exhaust for the SHO? Or am I going to have it custom made? Thanks in advance.

You really think so? Ive always ran a minimal of 3" on any turbo car I've had. These are 10:1 if I remember correctly along with turbo's on top of it. Can never have too much air flowing on a turbo application IMO.

Custom if you want 3 inch Bud.  Good luck.

M.Bambic made 600 whp in a Flex without 3 inch btw.

Yeah not needed, and I doubt there would be the room to accommodate 2 the 3" pipes. Definitely not the down pipes. But to answer your question, no one makes a 3" system for the car.

Yea def not getting 3" dp's in there, at least not with the underbody shield.
And I also dont think you could dual 3's under the rdu properly... hell the 2.5 is tight.
Ford is 2.25 and flat spotted in that area.

Hmmm, I haven't got a good look underneath it yet to see what the clearance issues would be.
Im putting my H&R springs in tomorrow so I will do some looking around while I'm at it.

Performance benefit aside, I'll bet it will be very loud and droney.
Perhaps too much for such a classy car.
Though, I agree, there's no such thing as too large a diameter exhaust for turbo FI.

I don't think you need a 3" exhaust, after all, the exhaust manifolds for each cylinder are only slightly larger than a US Quarter, so 3" is probably overkill.

We do not see a need to run a 3in. Unless you are making 500+ Whp. A 3 in. exhaust can actually hurt performance if you're not at the correct power levels. We recommend the Corsa 2.5in. cat-back exhaust. They look and sound great with no drone. We have them in stock and ready to go!

overkill and will probably hurt performance and be too loud. I didn't even put 3in on my 1968 F100 with a 7.2L :)

2.5 is just fine....
